Bonus Rounds and Payouts
There are 2 bonus features in Desert Treasure II which are activated by two
separate Bonus symbols. These bonus features lead to extra winning potential.
The Oasis bonus is activated by landing 3 or more Compass symbols. The number
of Compass symbols you land will determine how many Treasure Chests you will be
allowed to open in this Bonus round. If you landed 3 Compasses you will able to
open one chest while landing 4 or 5 Compasses will allow players to open 2
Chests. The Chests contain various cash prizes.
The Chests may also contain a map. If you pick a Chest with a map inside you
will be taken to one of two islands where you will get the chance to win further
prizes that can be up to 100x your bet.
The Queen symbol is the Scatter symbol in Desert Treasure II. Landing 3 or
more of the Queen symbol will result in the player being awarded with 15 free
spins with a 2x multiplier attached. There is opportunity for players to
re-activate the free spins by landing 3 more Queen Symbols.
Additional Game Features
There is one symbol that has not yet been discussed and that is the Wild. The
Wild symbol is the Wild Snake symbol. This symbol has the power to replace all
the other symbols in the game except for the Queen Scatter and the Compass Bonus
Symbol. The Snake turns into an Expanding Wild when it lands on reels 2, 3 and
4, thus greatly increasing winning combinations. The Expanding Wilds can also be
activated during the free spins.

Wilds
The Wild is the Snake. It can substitute for all other game
symbols except for the Scatter and Bonus symbols, it also has the power to
expand

The Scatter symbol is the Queen and unlocks free spins as well
as awards multipliers.
Bonus
The Bonus Symbol is of a Compass and rewards players with
multipliers and unlocks the Oasis Bonus Round.
Summary
Desert Treasure II is a welcome addition to Playtech’s repertoire. The game
is similar enough to the original that players will know how all the symbols
work if they have played the original game. A major improvement is the Oasis
bonus that has become multi-layered and has more RPG qualities.
The graphics have also been given a bit of a boost with their detail and
richness of color. Overall the game is just what you would expect from a new
and improved version of Desert Treasure.
